Team members:

• Are expected to attend all scheduled classes, rehearsals, and events
• Train consistently and work as part of a committed team
Competition teams focus on performance quality, technique, teamwork, and growth as a dancer.
Do I need dance experience to join?
4
No — our Open Classes are perfect for beginners and dancers of all experience levels. This is a great place to start your dance journey.
What age groups do you cater for?
5
We offer classes for a range of age groups from 5-19 years. Please contact us to find the best class for your dancer.
What should I wear to class?
6
All dancers are required to wear all black to class, along with their Muse Dancewear uniform. Please choose comfortable dancewear that allows you to move freely.
Hair must be neatly tied up in either a ponytail or bun for all classes.
Teens and seniors should wear supportive sports bras to ensure comfort and proper support during training.
Trainers must be worn for Commercial classes — this is extremely important for both safety and performance in this style.
iets frans joggers are only permitted in Commercial classes and are not allowed in any other styles.
For Jazz, Contemporary, and Acro classes, dancers should be barefoot. Socks are not allowed due to slipping hazards.
For Technique, Dance Fitness, and Acro Skills classes, dancers must wear tight-fitted clothing. This allows teachers to properly see body lines and technique, while also ensuring safety during training.
For this year, auditions will be conducted via video submission. If you're interested in joining one of our Competition Teams, please contact us for more information about the submission process and requirements.
