Connie Mace

Co-Founder and Director

Connie is a Sussex-based choreographer and dance teacher with over 10 years of experience in teaching and choreography. She trained at the University of Chichester, where she completed both a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master’s degree in Dance Performance.

During her training, Connie performed with both national and international companies, presenting work in theatres across the UK and abroad. Following graduation, her passion naturally evolved towards teaching and choreography, where she now dedicates her career to developing young dancers and nurturing their confidence, performance quality, and future opportunities within the dance industry.

Known for her passion, creativity, and dedication, Connie strives to inspire a genuine love for dance while helping dancers grow both technically and artistically.

Her choreography has received significant recognition, including selections for the Move It Main Stage, CYD Main Stage, and various regional and national youth platforms. She has received multiple Top Choreography awards, and in 2022 her work was selected for the USA World Dance Championships Choreographer of the Year.

Connie’s choreography has also achieved numerous titles and Grand Champion awards internationally, with successes at prestigious events including the Dance World Championships, Dance World Cup, and Disneyland Paris.

Lucie Jarvis 

Co-Founder and Director

Lucie Jarvis is a choreographer and performer with ten years of experience creating visually enchanting and versatile productions. With a diverse background in contemporary, jazz, and commercial dance, she brings a unique and innovative approach to her work.

A former GBR rhythmic gymnast, Lucie’s expertise in movement extends beyond traditional dance, incorporating striking visual elements that elevate her choreography. She has worked as a choreographer and performer for Imagine Shows, creating productions for cruise ships featuring world-class Cirque du Soleil acrobats. Lucie is also the choreographer, casting director and dancer for the internationally touring productions ‘Princess Proms’ and ‘Girl Power Experience’, bringing large-scale theatrical entertainment to audiences worldwide. Her choreography has also been showcased at corporate events, sporting events, and on the MOVE IT Main Stage - the UK’s largest dance convention and her pieces have won multiple awards at dance competitions across the UK and internationally.

Michaela Stakim-Trinder

Michaela is a professionally trained dancer and choreographer who graduated from Tiffany Theatre College in 2013. She later qualified as a Level 3 Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor, expanding her expertise in movement, fitness, and wellbeing. She began her professional career touring India, where she performed in Bollywood films, music videos, and live television productions. Following her time overseas, Michaela went on to train with a contemporary dance company, further developing her versatility and performance style. She has since built a diverse international career, working with globally recognised brands including the BBC, FIFA, and EA Games, alongside performing as a singer and dancer in musical theatre productions aboard cruise ships and in luxury resorts worldwide.

With over 10 years of teaching experience, Michaela is passionate about inspiring and developing the next generation of performers. Known for her energetic, encouraging, and supportive teaching style, she focuses on building confidence, creativity, performance quality, and strong technical foundations in every student.

As a choreographer, Michaela has received multiple choreography awards and accolades at prestigious competitions including the Dance World Championships, Dance World Cup, Destination Dance, Starpower, and many others. Her routines have achieved numerous first-place titles, special judges’ awards, and overall competition honours.
